Password protection is deactivated but after editig an item in the backend it is marked as protected in the frontend.

Frank
Indeed, the problem is LastPass. Because the password filed has the same name as Joomla's password filed (name="password") LastPass filled it with my stored Joomla! passwort.

Sorry and many thanks for your support.

Hi Frank,

Regarding your issue, do you mean when you edit a topic from EasyDiscuss backend, a non-password protected topic now become password protected? I tried to replicate this in my local but I cannot reproduce the error. Can you tell me the steps to replicate this issue?

Also, can you pass me your Joomla backend access so that I can try this at your site?
Please advise.

Sorry, I tried this with IE without replication of this issue. May be this is a problem with Chome and / or LastPass. It seems that in this moment when I save the discussion the empty password field is filled out. I will try to figure it out.
For this moment this issue is solved.

Thank You.
