I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Actually that is current default behaviour, if the system detected this post required enter password in order to view this post content, it will not show any content even post cover on the page.

What do you think if this can achieve what your current requirement?

1. Remove that password protection
2. Set the read more tag into the blog content, so visitor can able to view those intro content and the cover as well
3. Set require login when user view the post.

Thank you for your reply. Login to view post is not preferred by my client. Just password protect the full post but the "showcase" module (and the Menu: "Frontpage" ) may show the image and content before Readmore tag.

How to achieve this, can you please help.
