Hi Stackideas Team

Do you have any kind of Password policy for users registering with Easy Social?

The reason I am asking is that I am using an Easy Social and Moodle SSO (Single Sign On)

http://www.joomdle.com/features#single_singon

e.g. do you have any of the following restrictions:

Password length: Passwords must be at least these many characters long.
Digits: Passwords must have at least these many digits.
Lowercase letters: Passwords must have at least these many lower case letters.
Uppercase letters: Passwords must have at least these many upper case letters.
Non-alphanumeric characters: Passwords must have at least these many non-alphanumeric characters.
Consecutive identical characters: Passwords must not have more than this number of consecutive identical characters. Use 0 to disable this check.

I am guessing that you do not have any of the restrictions listed above.
I just want to double check to avoid confusion at a later date.

thanks

Paul
Hi there,

You can check it on Backend>Components>EasySocial>Profile types>Custom fields>Password>Edit. We only have this checking for it, as you can see here http://prntscr.com/cyoiap

Hi Abdul

OK, I should have know that. Sorry.
If I increase for eg minimum characters from 4 to 8 will this effect people who have already registered with 4 characters?

i.e. will they still be able to login with 4 characters?

thanks

Yes, they are. The can login with their old password as long as they didn't change their password. If they decided to edit and change their password, they have to put 8 already.

Hope this helps
