You can create a language override for the following constant:

COM_PP_INVOICE_PAID="Paid"

It didn't worked. I put COM_PP_INVOICE_PAID="Pago" in pt-BR.com_payplans.ini file and it keep showing "Paid".

Now it worked, with the two constants:
COM_PP_PAID="Pago"
COM_PP_INVOICE_PAID="Pago"
