Hi !

As a new EasySocial user I want first to say that I'm very pleased with it (so far) and second - ask my question:
Is there any way to make one-time or recurring paid plans for Pages and/or Groups based on their Category, Features or Options?
For example - free Pages for a category of Charity Organizations and paid for a category of Commercial Companies.
Or a free "Basic Page" and paid "Advanced Page" (extra Apps - Blog, Events etc....).
Or a free "Public Pages" and paid "Private Pages".
Is this possible to achieve with EasySocial + ProPlans, Apps, Site Points or other methods ....?

Best Regards
Viktor
Hey Viktor,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You could achieve this with PayPlans with the profile type app in PayPlans.

This is how it's going to work:

1. Create multiple profile types on the site.

2. In PayPlans, create respective plans and associate them with the profile types.

3. When creating the category (page, event and groups), you can then restrict the creation access to specific profile types.

Thank you, Mark !

Yes, it's easy and straightforward solution.
I just saw that in Pages> Categories> ACL their creation can be restricted by user points too, which in some cases can be an even better solution with the help of your "Points" App.

Is it possible to set some sort of expiration duration for Pages, so we can make the payment recurrent?
Also, are Pages tied somehow to their creator's membership? (for example, If the creator leaves the community does his pages still stay alive?). If not, expiration duration seems also like a reasonable way to automatically clean up dead and abandoned old pages.

No worry about the reply, I know it is a weekend for everybody ...

Hey Viktor,

Not a problem at all, please find my response to your questions below:

Hm, unfortunately that isn't possible right now Automatically expiring a page is really tricky.

If the admin deletes the user, they would be removed from the page but the page would still exists.
