Hi,
Thanks for the great easy social components, and its latest feature of Events.

Is it possible to create paid events? If yes, how?

Regards
Kabeer
One work around you could consider is to set the event to either "Closed" or "Invite Only" and then use a third party e-commerce component like Quick2Cart (just my preference because it integrates with ES very nicely) to sell entry to the event and in the product set up a field that requires the ES username. When the order comes through you can invite the user to the event. That's pretty much the only route I can see.

Hello Kabeer,

We don't actually have "paid events" currently but as Steven pointed out above, that's the best solution right now

I also suggest checking jticketing since they closely work with stackideas.

Just heard from the Techjoomla Google Hangout that the next release of JTicketing will support the workflow for realizing paid events for ES.
