Pages: Problems with 'Notification Type' Field

I have 2 issues with the 'Notification Type' field on the page creation form...

First, there is no option to set it to hidden during page creation (only options are during editing and displaying). I really don't want to have this field showing as configurable to my page creators - I want to control it globally as Site Admin.

The Second issue, when I try and save it with a default value of "Both" it always reverts to "Internal Only" - the other default values work, but not "Both" and that's the option I'd want!!!!

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I will consult with our developer regarding this whether we can add an option for this notification type field.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into this following file location and see how it goes?
