Gretings friends,

I've been using StackIdeas extensions for years now, why ?, cause they are super functional, well coded, beautiful and very well supported! So kudo again to this company for their GREAT WORK.

That being said :-)

Why is it that all your extensions don't use the standard Joomla Page header as a title ??? Currently, your extensions offer the header title and description option which is almost good enough but our problem is that these are not multilingual ! This means we need to have a multilingual title and description (yuk!).

PLEASE PLEASE add the option to use the default Joomla page heading or better yet, add multilingual content management to the header and description :-)

Thanks/Merci/Gracias LOL!
Danny
Hello Danny,

Thank you for your kind compliments, appreciate this very much. Would you mind elaborating more about the "Page heading"? Not entirely sure which are you referring to here.

Howdy Mark!

Sure thing for the compliments, always a pleasure.

For the page heading, see the attached files (screenshots)

Currently, there's not way to have a multi lingual page title and description

In our website, we offer a french forum and an English one separately
https://benu.ca/support
https://benu.ca/fr/soutien

Notice how both are in English :-(

(1) Ideally, you would allow for these 2 values (header and description) to be multilingual.

(2) We can't use the default Joomla page heading either (your components don't render it)

(3) In our case, we use the new YooTheme Pro templates which don't yet have a content-top / main-top module position so using a module here won't work for us either ... BUT, another alternate solution would be for you to allow code in that input box, this would allow us to call a module position straight from there {module ...}.

PS: This is applicable to ALL your extensions as well (EasyBlog, EasySocial ...)

Thanks
Danny

In this case, you can put language constant from the Easydiscuss header title/description setting, then override those language constant in your Joomla backend language override section base on your language, so when you switch to another language, it will load those translation for your header title and description which you translated from backend.

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Hope this help.
