Maybe I am missing something here but if i create a discussion on one of my pages, no one can reply. What is the sense of having discussions if you cannot reply?
Hi Carl,
You can check the respective EasyDiscuss category and usergroup permissions and see if the category/usergroup allows posting replies(http://take.ms/OjrfD).
If you are still having issues, perhaps you can provide us your backend access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can take a look at the configuration?

That would be great if I was talking about EasyDiscuss and the category/usergroup therein. However, I was referring to the discussions associated with Pages, Groups and so on within EasySocial. When I go to create a discussion on a Page I created in Easysocial, there is no option to select a category. Again, if a Page or Group within Easysocial does not allow replies, then why have them?

Hey Carl,
I apologize for the misunderstanding.
For ES page discussion, do note that users have to 'Like' the page in order to participate in it's activities, much like groups.
I am able to reply to page discussions on my end(http://take.ms/RhlUB). If the issue still persist on your end even with users that already liked the page, I would need to investigate this on your site which I would require access.

Hey Carl,

You are most welcome. Glad to know that the answer is clarified.
Feel free to start a new thread if you have any other issues. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
