I just set up a new category called "Recommendations" that is a separate top level category from the original "The Leadership Minute" (blog page) category. On this new Recommendations page though when I click on the top title of a blog to go to the full version of that blog it goes to a new page that has the wrong category. It goes to "The Leadership Minute" instead of "Recommendations"
Hello Karen,

I've fixed it for you by changing to this option: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-04_1046.png . By the way, for your recommendations menu item, I've changed the layout to Single Category Layout. This is because, there will be some issue when you have two Frontpage Blog Layout.

Thank you. I was guessing I was missing a setting somewhere. How can I get rid of the box that has the category name and “1 post in this category” for that layout. That’s why I had used the frontpage blog layout to start because I didn’t want that box. Can I turn it off somewhere?

Hello Karen,

You can remove it by turning off this option: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-04_1134.png in Easyblog>Themes . I've turned it off for you. Please have a look.

thank you! That is perfect. I am guessing there might be a selection for this followup question too that is related but I can't find it.
When I go to the page on a specific blog it has previous and next articles at the bottom. It is showing blogs that are under other categories. Is there a way I can have it only show blogs that are under the same category?

Hello Karen,

I'm sorry but there is no setting to change the navigation to follow the category. However, I can help you with a simple hack. Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php. Please give it a try.
