Hello support,

I have some overrides after I upgrade. I tried applying the following documentation, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/template-overrides

I placed the files under my JA Social II template:

Although I have for example a custom logo here for my email, it still keeps using the default.
Also the language files use the default setting.

How can I override
- the default email logo?
- the default language file?

I'm really trying to apply the documentation here, but I just get stuck somehow.

Hey Jan,

Overrides does not use en-GB.com_easysocial.ini . Your overrides file should be named as en-GB.override.ini

Hey Jan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

- the default email logo?

It seems like you check wrong the documentation, for the email logo documentation, you should take a look here :
http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/customizing-email-logo

- the default language file?

What do you mean default language file?

Is it you mean your current Joomla default language e.g.French language , but it still showing English on your Easysocial frontend?

Hi Arlex,

I got my logo working this way, Thanks!

Indeed, the initial documentation I used didn't apply here, at first I placed it in this folder under my Joomlart template:

Regarding the language file: I want to use an custom en-GB file

I have tried my initial documentation and also tried placing the file in the directory 'overrides'

Still the emails aren't picking up my customized text. in these file.
What am I doing wrong here?

Hi Mark,

Thanks! The when placing the 'en-GB.override.ini' in the 'overrides' directory it works! :-D
So just to be sure; when I upgrade to a new version of EasySocial when available, the file 'en-GB.override.ini' in the 'overrides' directory won't be overwritten and stay intact, right?

Thanks Mark.
