May i know which part of search you wanted to change with? It would be best if you can provide us with more details so that we can further check this issues.

Did I explain this badly? I just want to replace the photo (search.png) with my own with override. As described above.

Unfortunately, we cannot do override on that images currently. You will need to replace those image at this path /media/com_easysocial/images/defaults/search/ and rename them as 'large.png'. You will need to re-apply them on your next update/upgrade.

Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of EasySocial if there are more people request on this.
