For users to overwrite the cover is clear.

/templates/TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.png

But then pages, groups and events have the same cover.

But how do I overwrite the cover for page, group and event?

Why does not something work?

It's similar actually,

/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/group/default.png
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/event/default.png
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/page/default.png

Hm, looks like it is searching for a png instead of a jpg. Have you tried renaming it to png?

I copied both .jpg and .png into the override folders.

In groups, events and pages, however, the cover is taken from the User folder.

If, for example, a page is created, the cover is taken from the folder page. But after saving you can see on the page the cover of the overwritten User folder.

So I have now tried everything. My page is not yet online, still too many errors (search etc. ) , running on localhost.

In each folder an extra photo. 4 different photos.

Nevertheless groups, events and pages take over the cover from the User folder...

/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/group/default.png
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/event/default.png
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/page/default.png
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.png

and/or

/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/group/default.jpg
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/event/default.jpg
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/page/default.jpg
/templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.jpg

And this shows google-elements when I examine group, page and event covers. Photo is always taken from the User folder. See photo.

Hi Chris,

Can you download the attached file and replace it in the:
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/tables/cover.php
and see how it goes?

You're suggested to backup the file that you want to replace beforehand for precaution
