Hello... hopefully quick question...

I'm currently working on a site where users are able to submit project ideas that they want to collaborate with others on. I have created a "Project" app, more or less by copying the "Story" app and replacing terms within it. I seem to be able to get a stream to show up, or "activity" items... but I can't seem to find a good way for me to create a stream specifically for "a project". I'm using K2 to store the actual project details. I was hoping to be able to just create a stream, assign it's ID in an extra field of the k2 item, and then add relevant activity to that stream when actions are taken on the project.

Here is an example project URL: http://new.pimios.com/explore/item/11-do-something-with-my-life

From the looks of it, I really can only filter things specifically by a "user". I'd REALLY like to avoid creating users for every project, that seems like it would be extremely awkward. Either way, I am really enjoying the component thus far, great job on it! If the admin/FTP access would help, just let me know and I'll get it set up. Hoping it's something that can just be explained :-X

Thanks!

Hello Erron,

If you create stream filters, you could filter it by hash tags like #projectA . Perhaps you might also want to wait for EasySocial 1.2 which is coming up pretty soon since it has groups, you could treat the groups as your project.

Sounds good. I'm supposed to have this site done soon, but I'll keep an eye out for that update. If it doesn't roll out in time, I'll give that hashtag thing a try.

Thank you sir!
