Hello,
I'm deciding if to install ffmpeg on my server, I found on various blogs and around the network that ffmpeg is considered unsafe for security.
can you have another video codec on easysocial instead of ffmpeg?
Thanks for the attention
EasySocial currently only supports ffmpeg and there are hundreds of thousands of users using ffmpeg so I don't think this is in anyway insecure

Hey Giovanni,

FFmpeg itself is not insecure but it's more of the way you set it up. As long as you know what you are doing, you are fine

General rule, DO NOT SET 777 permissions on anything.
