Hi:
Is there a way to have uploads (images and documents) to go into specific directories/folders we designate? I think by category and, perhaps, by user or other. As I understand it, all images and document uploads will go into one folder in EasyDiscuss.

I have tried looking through the forum and found nothing. Not sure if we would have to use a third party solution, but if so, what would you recommend that integrates into EasyDiscuss? Our current editor is JCE but would prefer to use the attachment tab in EasyDiscuss.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,

Channing
Hey Channing,
Sure I will move this to the feature request section.
Unfortunately, I do not have any alternatives in mind currently regarding 3rd party integration.

Hi Channing,
Unfortunately, currently there are no quick and simple ways to have different directories for different attachments.
If you like, we can make this a feature request and move this post to the feature request category for EasyDiscuss. That way, other users can take a look at this idea as well. If many people request this feature, we will consider implementing it in the future.
Let us know if you want us to move this post into the feature request section, thanks.

Hi:

Thank you. I am not a forum expert but having worked in CMS systems with memberships, users having thier own web pages and moving sites, it would be a great feature for organizational purposes. If you would please, move this to a feature request.

We use Yootheme's Zoo app but in order to ensure that images and document go into specific user folders, we rely on Zoolanders Image Pro. This enable our client to to have to sort through one directory with potentially thousands of images and document.

In the meantime, do you have any alternative ideas?

Thank you again.
