Hi

I am looking to set posts to order on the front only by post date and not reorder based on the latest comment. Is there an easy way to go about this?
Hey Michael,

I am assuming that you are posting about EasyBlog eh? By default EasyBlog already orders the post by the creation date. Am I missing anything here?

You can actually change the settings for the sorting of EasyBlog under Settings > Layout as you can see from my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/MTjg9twlM0

No I am talking about easy discuss here. Right now when you log in it arranges discussions by the latest comment on top. I would like it to only arrange discussion based on the discussion post date.

Hey Michael,

Ah I see. Unfortunately right now it's not possible to arrange discussion based on the original discussion date. It always get's ordered by the last modification date by default.

Could you maybe point me to the file where I can try and alter this myself?

Hey Michael,

If you want to hack the files, you should look in the following locations:

/components/com_easydiscuss/views/index/view.html.php
/components/com_easydiscuss/models/posts.php
