When adding a new blog post, I use the Embed Video button to add 3 Vimeo videos in a single post. When I preview the post, each video box shows alert "Oops! The embed code for this video is not valid."

The embed code is identical to a previous blog post with one Vimeo video that is working.
[embed=videolink]{"video":"https://player.vimeo.com/video/318006277","width":"290","height":"163","nocookie":"0"}[/embed]

Is it not possible to display more than 1 video in a blog post?

Website is
Joomla 3.9.3
EasyBlog 5.2.11

Richard
Hi Richard,

I tried embedding the 3 Vimeo videos in your post using the 'Embed Video' button and it appears fine on the preview post page: https://take.ms/BOsgE

Am I missing something here?

Actually, I found a work-around to get the videos to display inside the blog post by using OSVimeo Pro plugin from Joomlashack. When I used the Embed Video button in EasyBlog it creates the code below, but it doesn't work. The videos don't display, but instead show the error "Oops! The embed code for this video is not valid." Maybe it's a conflict between EasyBlog video embed function and the OSVimeo plugin?

[embed=videolink]{"video":"https://player.vimeo.com/video/318006277";,"width":"290","height":"163","nocookie":"0"}[/embed]

Hey Richard,

If you use this url(https://player.vimeo.com/video/318006277), then it wont work on EasyBlog or the OSVimeo Pro plugin(https://take.ms/ajhiq).

This is because the video itself has a privacy that prevents it from playing on external sites. You can try to manually access that link and you should see this(https://take.ms/dmzXa).

This is why when using this link, https://vimeo.com/318006277, it works fine.

I see. Now with the correct video URL the video displays using both OSVimeo plugin and EasyBlog's Embed Video button. However, the EasyBlog option requires you to set a fixed video width and height, which is not responsive in my 3 column wide grid. On narrower screens, when the grid drops to 1 column wide, the video doesn't expand to fit the width. It stays the set pixel width. So OSVimeo is a better choice in this situation.

At least it's working now.

Thanks, Richard

Understood Richard and you're most welcome. Glad to know that it's working now.
