Hi.
In V1.3.25, if a group has been set to only allow a group admin to post on the group timeline, a message displays that the user is not allowed to post, but the post appears anyway.

HI Dave,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.
Here I have attached to you a file, can you please download it and put it here: /components/com_easysocial/controllers/groups.php

Please give this a try and see if this resolves your issue.
Thanks.

Hi Alerx.
I used the "Posting Permissions" field in the custom fields for the group category.

Hi Dave,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I seems unable to replicate this issue on my local. Perhaps you can provide us backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you further on this issue. By the way, may I know where do this message appear on your site?
a message displays that the user is not allowed to post, but the post appears anyway.

Please advise.

Hi Mohd.
Before I send over the details, can you try replicating these steps your end.
1. Create a group with posting permissions set to admin only.
2. View the group as a non-admin, and you should see the "posting" box doesn't exist as expected (No-Posting-Box.png).
3. Change the view (e.g. click on the group details).
4. Click back on timeline, and the posting box appears (Posting-box-appears.png).
5. Post a comment, and click share, and you should get the error box saying only admins can post (Error-appears.png).
6. Refresh the page (or move to another view then back again), and you should see the post has been made anyway (post-goes-through-anyway.png)

I've attached screenshots from my site.

Hi Mohd.
Yup, that seems to have fixed the issue outlined above.
Thanks
