On the home only articles in evidence

I would set it to the home of the blog to show only articles (in descending date order) in evidence, coem should I do?

To display featured item only, you can use Featured Blogs Layout as your menu item: http://screencast.com/t/dCkaavbU1d5i . Hope this helps.

You can use the Frontpage blog layout for your menu item and change this option according to your requirement. http://screencast.com/t/TOXW7v2I8i (Backend>Easyblog>Settings>Layout>General) . Hope this helps.
