Hi, hi

I can not speak highly enough of Offlajin. I promised that I would mention them here in the forum. I recently bought there AJAX Live Search module and also installed their ES Search plugin.

http://offlajn.com/universal-ajax-live-search/universal-ajax-live-search/flypage.tpl.html

In the beginning it was pretty useless to me. I specifically wanted to be able to not only search for a user using his name but search the multilist fields that are on my users profiles.

e.g. search for skills

AVID, FCP, Photoshop etc

I asked if they could look into this and they replied: yes.

And within days they had a perfect working solution. Nice folks and obviously very competent :-)

If any one is curious they can try it out here:

http://finalbug.net/community

look for the "Search Profiles for Skills!"

OK I need to do some work on the formatting but it is all actually working technically.

A big thank you to Jenő @ Offlajin for also being a heroe :-)

best

Paul
Just to agree...Offlajn is one of the few Joomla extensions developers who's doing outstanding and beautiful extensions (way ahead of the competition).

Although their ajax search is based on the plain joomla search (not Smart Search/Finder) it's great to see a fully customizable alternative especially for those who have other components with plain search plugins only...

For Offlajn Ajax Search users the the free EasySocial plugin can be downloaded From Here.

ps.: I'm not affiliated with them just love their components

hey guys,
sounds really good - thanks for the input.
one question, as another customer mentioned it in the past: in the older versions they had no integration with the easysocial search page, is that added now? to be clear: there was the option "taget on enter" in the module which only ended at joomla / redshop / joomshopping or virtuemart but not on the easysocial search results page.

Hi Alex

You are reading my mind. This is what the back end of their plugin currently looks like! See screen shot.
I am going to ask them for this feature.
Fingers crossed that they will roll this out as fast as they rolled out other feature.
I would suggest that any one else who wants this simply write to them

best

I can confirm that Jenő @ Offlajin is a Joomla hero. Their products are phenomenal. Offlajn is the only Joomla development team that I respect on the level as Stackideas (and you know how much I looooove Stackideas). They make great products, they price them very competitively and they are suuuper helpful... even with customizations. If something doesn't work right on your site they take the time to make it work! Seriously, A+ stuff.

There are two developers who I have taken the time to write reviews for on JED... Stackideas and Offlajn.

I can confirm that their search component works wonderfully with EasySocial, they even have an improved search plugin for EasySocial which is a free download. Seriously, can't recommend them enough.

By the way in the above "TargetSearchPage" screen shot it is also possible to set to "No Pages" that is until the ES option is integrated. Here is how it looks on my Site. Quite OK I would say.
