Hello,

I would like to have numbered pagination in each blog post, instead of only in the category listing, and I would like to have it separately for each category, the numbers should contain only posts from the same category as the current one.
Can anyone give me a hand?

Thanks.
Hi Will,

I am sorry but I'm not quite understand what do you mean here. Do you want to have pagination inside each blog post on your site? If that so you can use "page break" block and activating page break plugin from your plugin manager.

Please advise if I'm wrong.

Sorry if I wasn't as clear as I could, but that exactly what I ment.
So when I tried to enable page break plugin into Joomla I found that it wasn't installed, so I went to this page:
http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/plg_pagebreak
and I downloaded and installed the lates version through Extension Manager, but once I enable the plugin in Plugin Manager, the blog page won't show on the site, just a plain white page.

Link for the blog:

Thanks.

Hi Will,

I am sorry for the confusion here. The plugin that you downloaded from our plugin download page can only be use in easyblog 3.9.xxx. Can you temporarily disable the plugin first and then go to your backend > extension manager > discover > click discover button and search for easyblog page break plugin. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/SC7NuS7rBXsS .

If the issue still persist kindly provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue further on your site directly.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, I have been trying to work with the page break plugin, I managed to get it installed and it doesn't break the website anymore, but it's still not showing the pagination below the post.
I sent the website info so you can access it if required.

Thanks.

Hi Will,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it public holiday for all of us here.

It seems like you are using older version of the plugin hence the plugin is not working correctly. I've re-installed the latest plugin on your site and the pagebreak is showing correctly now. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/JICsHUzLDi4 . You can try to view the test post on your site, http://yoursite.com/blog-virtualization/entry/75

Hi Ezrul,

I think we had a misunderstanding of the case, what I ment was having a numbered pagination between posts, not splitting a post into multiple pages. I've attached a image refering to the post listing by category, note the red box at the bottom, I was aiming to get something similar in each post's bottom, enabling quickly navigate between them.

If there's a way to filter the prev-next links in the bottom of the post (refer to the second image's red box at the bottom) to show only posts from the came category of the current one, that would do the trick.

Thanks.
