Hm, I don't think it is hard at all but not sure how does this work with different languages? Does the (2) always get added at the end regardless of the language that you are using?

btw the number is always in English regardless of the language of the website. Twitter has fixed location for the number (on the left) where Facebook respects RTL languages and it shows on the left when its arabic and on the right when its english.

To me i will go with a fixed one like on twitter.

Yeah, I know it's English but there are cases in different languages where the number counter should be position in different placement (due to the language construction). I have been dealing with all these language localization issues for days and don't want to get stuck again by introducing a new feature haha.

I actually was thinking about this feature for EasyDisquss. I think it would be useful to have it as there are notifications in EasyDisquss as well
