I have configured EasyBlog to send notifications on page load for new posts, but it isn't happening. If I hit the Notify button manually, emails are sent fine. Using version 5.0.26.
Hey Alan,

I am not understand as you said "If I hit the Notify button manually, emails are sent fine", do you mean manually click the notify button from backend > Easyblog > post listing page?

If yes, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Correct. When I have a blog scheduled to post sometime in the future, it posts properly on the scheduled date, but the email notifications are not sent. I have to hit the Notify button on the Blog Entries page to send out notifications.

I provided the login details you requested. When I was on the old version of EasyBlog (3.9), this all worked fine, but since migrating to version 5 it hasn't worked.

Hey Alan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I tested just now, it seems work fine for me.

What I did is publish a new post from backend, so system will generate a lot email notification ready to send to your site user.

The reason why need to load your site Easyblog page is because you using `send email via page load`, so when you load finish on your Easyblog page 1 time, it will send out the email to your site user included me.

You can take a look of my test post email notification screenshot at below.

So did you make any changes to anything?
Should it make any difference whether a post it published immediately as opposed to scheduled to post a week or two into the future? In general, I create posts that I schedule to post sometime in the future. Even after they post and I open up the page to view them, notifications were not being sent.

Hi Alan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download my attachment below and place it inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/scheduler/ folder and see how it goes?

Sorry for the delay, but I just saw your response to my question. I went to install the scheduler.php file you attached to your response on 10/12/15, put when I navigated to the folder you specified (/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/scheduler/), there is already a scheduler.php file located there dated 10/30/15, so I'm thinking the file was included with the most recent update. I'm on version 5.0.30. I don't want to overwrite the file that's already there unless you suggest I overwrite it with the file you attached.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I already checked my colleague attached that file changes, it seems like this fix is not included 5.0.30 version yet, you can download that attached file above and replace into JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/scheduler/scheduler.php and see is it your user is it can get the notification if that is schedule post.
