I am trying to change the color of the icons inside the notifications module but it seems like to be impossible for me. I can change the size of the icons because they are not defined yet, but modifying existing definitions does not seem to work. Also the separating lines can not be modified.
It works inside the google development tool but the moment I put it to my template's custom css it has no effect. Every other modules and items work with these modifications but the notification module does not.
