I'm starting to setup my email notifications. The first one is after a payment (or free subscription ) is to receive a copy of the invoice via email. I've used the Post Activation type. The preview looks fine, but when I do a subscription, I don't get an email. I have the time set to Life Time, which I would assume is the setting for immediate.
Hey Daniel,

I am sorry for the delayed response.

Post Activation time can not be Life time , life time means never. So email will not sent in case you setup Life time. You need to set it to 1 day etc as per your need. see attached screenshot.

Let me know if you have any queries.

I actually had the same query and luckily found the answer here.
Maybe its possible to make that clearer on Payplans, as I also assumed it was immediate.

Do you mean in backend we should show some notice about this or ?

Yes, on the backend.
Currently when you select the Post Activation Time, it shows YMD.
Underneath is a note which says "Set all to 0 for Life Time."

So we understand that 0 = lifetime, but we don't know what lifetime means in this context.
I assumed that "lifetime" means immediate, but it actually means never.
A simple message in the help bubble, such as "Set all to 0 if no email should be sent" would help clarify this.
