In the demo version of ES, the notifications in the toolbar are only dismissed after you click on the notification. How do i set this up on my site?

Currently, on my site, if the user clicks on the notification icon that has 5 notifications, all the notification are dismissed and then if you re-click on the notification icon, the notification list is empty. So you can't keep track of your notifications.
