Hello,
my site has problems with notifications. Use EasySocial integrated CometChat. I also contacted the assistance of CometChat but they told me that the problem is yours. The notifications message icon is always active even if the conversations have already been read in chat (see sreenshot). I await a prompt resolution, Thanks

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe comet chat does not include the mark as read function when someone read the conversation from the comet chat. Perhaps you can get back to them and add the following function that located inside our /administrator/components/com_easysocial/models/conversation.php at method @markAsRead() whenever a user is reading the chat.

Hi Gluseppe,

I think we have some misunderstanding here. This fix can only be done from Comet chat team since the chat behavior is handle by them, not us. You need to ask them to add the function that I mentioned above whenever a user is reading the chat inside the comet chat. Hope you understand.
