Hi,
we have a multilingual website. English is the standard language. Now we have the problem, that the notification e-mails was send in italian to all subscribers, instead in english. Only the title "New Blog post" is in english.
What can we do to solve this problem?
best regards
Ollie

Hello Oliver,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

The notification email language is based on the blogger frontend/backend language that he/she are currently using. For example when the blogger use English language when from the multilingual menu, the email notification will be in English.

I believe the reason why the notification email was send in italian to all subscribers is because one of your blogger are using Italian language from multilingual menu when he writing a blog post. Thus the notification will become Italian. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-17_1725.png

In order to resolve this, all of your bloggers must publish the blog post while using English as their main site language as well for the backend language ( http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-17_1730.png ).

Hope these can clarify your issue

Hello Ezrul,

thank you for your answer. We create the blog entries for the different bloggers ourself. And we do it in english language, not in italian. Some notification are in german and in french. Is it not possible to set english as standard language for notifications? Or can I overwrite all other languages in english?

Best regards
Oliver

Hello Oliver,

You can override the language constant to show only English instead of multilingual but its a tedious process to do it.

You can directly change all the language file prior to email notification only inside your .../language/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_easyblog.ini or you can directly override the language constant from your email template at backend > easyblog > settings > notifications > email templates
http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-17_1834.png

Other than that I believe it is not possible currently
