Hello,

The author now receives an email and system notification if a user leaves a comment on an easyblog post.

However, if the author responds to the user comment the user gets no notification of the reply to the comment.

The user does get a notification if the author likes the comment.

In the attached screen shot "Jim Thomas" received no email or system notification from the comment reply by "Jonathan Thompson"

Sorry to be such a problem figuring out these comments.

Ok. Does Komento have this function? If a user comments on a blog post I would like the user to be notified if the author of the blog post (or anyone else) replies to the comment. If so, is the notification by email only or is it integrated with the easysocial notification system as well?

Yes it is. Komento will sent those new reply made. It is required for you to enable this setting http://take.ms/1IpNm in order to achieve this.

If so, is the notification by email only or is it integrated with the easysocial notification system as well?

Thanks! I went ahead and bought Komento a few minutes ago. When I installed it and submitted a test comment I got an error above the comment box "Not found". I submitted another support requests but it should meet my needs when the error is resolved. Thanks!
