Hello,

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to send email whenever a member writes a new status inside a group and for all the members who belong to the group?
It works very well when a discussion is open by a member.
I am starting this new website and if people do not receive email to tell them that a new status has been posted in one of their group then I will have to ask them to publish only discussion but no status.
What is strange is that whenever a status is commented then it is possible to have an email notification.

Hi Marco,

Regarding your inquiry, in order to sent out email to member as you update a status in a group by enable the Groups - Group posts alert :
1. Click EasySocial>Alerts>Groups - Group posts (Enable the email notification)
I've tested this locally seems working perfectly fine

Thanks for your reply but It doesn't work maybe I wasn't clear enough. Let me try one more time.

Here is a screen shot from the group QHSSE where I posted a new status with your account. There is two others people belonging to this group and when I post this new status, they should receive on their mail a notification but they don't. I have tried manytimes.

Please Use only the QHSSE group as the members have email that I control.

Hello

Do not resinstall on test.rasf.fr!

I created another testwebsite

url : test3.rasf.fr

id1 : admin
id2 : Stackideas
pwd : same as usual S...16

Test Group has been created by Stackideas and admin is part of this group as well as 2 other members.

Id1 (admin) sent a message in the test group and no one received a email notification (see the alert configuration with all email notification in group put as yes)

Can you tell me how to fix that problem.

Sorry,

I just tested it again I had forgotten the email notification in the setting when I reinstalled every thing and it works ... sorry sorry ...

Ok then I need to reinstall everything from scratch on my main testing website so that it is clean.
The problem is solved
