Hi,

every time I save a new blog article in EasyBlog 5 I am presented with the following error message Notice: You must provide at least one recipient email address.

I have gone through the settings but cannot see where the email address is supposed to go.

Any idea how I fix this?

Mel
I confirm this also happens to me.

Hi Valentin Barbu and Mel,

Can you try download my attachment file and replace in -> JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\services\cron.php

before you test, you have to purge all the email from your backend > Easyblog > email activity then try submit a new blog post and see is it still hitting the same issues?

By the way, may i know do you have setup the cronjob in your site yet?

If can, provide us with your Joomla backend and Cpanel access so we can help you check on this?

Hi Arlex,

thanks for this.

I have cron set up, but I am having a couple issues which is being dealt with in another thread for the feed importer.

I have just added the new file and done a test post and I still get the error message - see image

hi Mel,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,

Regarding this issues, I've tried to turn off this "Send emails on page load" setting from your Easyblog backend setting, then test on your cronjob is it will auto process or not, but I wait for half and hour, it seems like it didn't process.
Can you provide us with your Cpanel access which you configure the cronjob in your site ?

Hi Arlex,

thanks for responding.

This is the only cron job I have for Easy blog which is set to run every 5 minutes:

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://mysite.co.uk/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cronfeed"; > /dev/null

Is that what you are after? I am also having issues wiith the feeds component that I posted another thread for (Nik has been responding). Could they both be related?
