Hello All:

I made a post informing our readers that we were having a small tech issue. Once the issue was resolved I went to add a reply to the post. When I pressed the reply button it did not save. Logged out and back in and tried again with the same results. Was however able to edit the original post.

This might explain why no one has replied to any post.... HMMM.

Please take a look when you get the chance.
Hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

May i know are you referring Easydiscuss? If yes, can you try download the fix file from this thread http://stackideas.com/forums/easydiscuss-3-2-9744-joomla-3-5-php7-quick-fix then replace into JoomlaFolder/components/com_easydiscuss/helpers/string.php and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you provide us with your FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hey Arlex:

Yes is easydiscuss. I already applied the fix a couple days back. Had to because I couldn't save text.

Don't have ftp activated on the site. You are welcome to turn it on if needed.

Bed time here I'll check back tomorrow.

Our firewall doesn't like FTP. Truthfully I don't like FTP either. SFTP we might be able to do. But now that I see 4 is out I'll upgrade to that and see if the problem hopefully goes away.

It would be best if you can update your Joomla backend and FTP access into http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you no need enter your site details in each of your post everything in our forums.
