The problem is, that registered do not see all stream items they should see. There are entries from EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog missing i.e.

I am on 1.4.1. but my backup site is already updated to 1.4.5 which did not help for this problem.
I am not sure if I am replicating this correctly but this is what I did,

1. Registered a new user account
2. I created a test post on the forums
3. Clicked on the "Themen" filter on the left
4. This is what I see, http://screencast.com/t/ox4sIxW2g7 which is the correct behavior.

By the way, the theme is nicely done. I like it

Thank you Mark.

4 Points are well made, but let me continue this:

5. logout and login as admin account
6. check 'themen' again to see the difference and what entries are missing compared to registered login before.

Same is for 'magazin'. You will see that being logged in as registered does not show all entries of EasyBlog as being logged in as an admin.

Hi Sabih,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I just tried to follow the instruction that you pointed out above and opening the easysocial stream side by side for super admin and registered user but seems like the all look the same to me. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/AzDNQz2Htm .

Not really sure how can we reproduce this issue.

I have made a fresh backup of my live site, and made an update to 1.4.5 on my backupsite. Tried it and you can see, it does not work for easydiscuss topics as I made fresh screenshots:

Hey Sabih,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply and made you felt confusing regarding this,

After further investigation, if you click on the filter it actually filter by "me and friends", in other word, the reason why the Superadmin can see all the discussion stream when click on the filter is because EasySocial treat this Superadmin has special and Superadmin has privileges to view all the stream.

By the way, I also noticed your development site do not have blog privacy rule, I already help you discover it.
You also have to do this step in your live site. Go to your backend > Easysocial > Privacy > discover > click start scan

Phew! I had never expected that to happen. Is this something we can change?

Did so but it seems like the same thing here as for topics.

hey Sabih,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Unfortunately that was not possible to change it, because this is default behaviour of the system.
Unless they are friend so that they can see each other's discussion/blog stream.

Hi Arlex,

thank you very much for your reply. But whats the reason for this? I mean it is a filter for stream entries not a filter for friend's entries. I have to say that I find it weird, that Ezrul and Mark did not supposed this before.

Having a sub-filter for friends' entries makes sense only for communities with more than 50k members perhaps, not before. As of it is now, people register, go for filter and see 'no entries yet' and think nothing is going on here.

I am not sure how it is on other's communities but my members use mainly the stream for anything. I thought they could use the filter anytime and always told them to use filters for topics. Now I need to find a lame excuse for this behaviour which they will not find useful at all, what I can totally understand.

If your site has 5,000 users and they are actively posting blogs and discussion, it might display activities that doesn't relate to the current user. I wouldn't want to see activities generated by users who aren't my friends because I don't want to know what everyone is talking about, I just need to know what did my friends posted
