Not Able to Create Frontpage Layout Menu Item

Hi SI Team,

I'm considering using EasyDiscuss on a site I'm working on. I've installed ED but it's not letting me create a Frontpage Layout menu item for some reason. I try to click save or save and close and nothing happens. Any ideas what the problem might be?
