Hi - I've noticed on the wireframe template, when you view a profile page not logged in - there's just a 'Follow User' link....

But when you're logged in, in the same area there's options for 'Friend' 'Follow User' and 'Message' options.

Shouldn't this be consistent? I'd like to see the non-logged in user to see the same 3 options (and they'd all go to a 'log in' pop-up just like the 'Follow User' link does.

This is important because...

a) We have to encourage the non-logged in user to log-in... so show them what powers they would have!
b) I'm telling users to go to a profile page to 'make friends' - but when they get there if they are not logged in, they don't see how right now!!!!!

Thanks! Hope you can see how important this is and squeeze into 1.2.5?!?
Hi Andy,

The 'Add as Friend' and 'Message' button is actually controlled by the privacy. If one user set the privacy 'Friends ->Friend Requests' and 'Profile -> conversation' to 'registered', then only logged in users can see these two options

Hope this help and have a nice day
