Some time ago, by one of users' requests you have modified the core files and added noindex tag to the tags pages. I believe this is wrong - we lost indexed pages in Google and ranking/traffic for these pages.

You have suggested a hack to change this back to "index", but we are coming across this issue with every easyblog update and it is tiring to apply this hack with every update. Please revert back to "index" tag or at least add this setting in backend (SEO tab) so every website owner can decide for themselves whether they want "noindex" or "index" for tags.
Hi Artur,

Thank you for your suggestion. I will see if I can add a quick settings for this in the future release of easyblog. Meanwhile you can modify it directly from your /components/com_easyblog/views/tags/view.html.php at line 92.

Has this been corrected? We need our tag pages to be indexed.

You can turn off this setting from the backend > Easyblog > Setting > SEO > Insert No-Index Robot Meta in Tag Page
