No way to change an image placeholder using templates

Hi,

So I tried to use EA template Recipe to create a new post, and I like to change the template image placeholder but all I get is a context menu with layouting functions. Now way to change the image?

It doesn't have the ability to change the image source yet but we have plans to add this into version 2

That would be an issue Mark, templating will be useless for now then. I don't know how much people are using templates in EB but if you have data on it and a considerable amount is using it then I guess it is a must work in v1

Hence the name, templating is one of the feature I personally wanted to use EasyArticles for our website so I can create templates for several of our contents that are often added.

Well, if that's your official answer then it is what it is for now then.

In EasyBlog, it is a little different because we utilize a different editor that handles "blocks" but because Joomla needs to store the content as plain HTML tags, it becomes really tricky.
