Hello there,

I use EB5 with JCE editor and when I wanted to create a blog post, I noticed that there was no video manager to embed YouTube videos. Did you remove this feature? Should we have to use EB composer in order to use videos in blog post?

Best regards,

Zafer
Hi Zafer,

We have remove video embedded feature as joomla default editor, TinyMCE already have their own video embedded feature where you can enable it from plugin manager. Perhaps you can consult with JCE editor developer if they have some sort of video embeddable plugin that can be use inside JCE editor.

Hi Ezrul,

JCE Media Manager is a paid plugin. It would be better if you didn't remove this feature

Hey Zafer,

Thanks for the heads up on this and we'll see if we can re-insert this functionality in the next release.

Hey Mark,

Thank you very much for considering this

By the way, when we change blog editor time to time, let's say that one blog post was created with JCE, another one was with EB composer. We should not expect any design/appearance problems at the front end, right? I mean, post will continue to appear as it was created, right?

Hi Zafer,

Thanks for the heads up on this. Regarding on your composer inquiry, yes the post appearance will not change when you switch the editor from your backend. However during the editing it will always use the editor that are being used during the composing of the blog post. For example when you've created a blog post using JCE editor, the blog post will always load JCE editor regardless on default editor that you set from your backend.

Hi Ezrul,

Thank you for this information. Then, I will definitely need EB's previous video manager. I hope you can insert it in a forthcoming release.

Best regards,
