Hi guys,
I have found a small issue with video uploads. Normal video uploads from a previous recorded file library on a pc or mobile works perfectly. When I tried to do it from an iPhone, you get the option to upload from a Video Library or Take Video. The Take Video records on the spot and then uploads. The upload went well, however, when played back it doesn't have sound. Normal uploads work fine.

Many thanks
Hello Markus,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this could be an encoding issue or probably your server isn't compiled with proper audio support for ffmpeg. Perhaps if you could upload the file here, I will give this a try locally?

Thank for you for you reply Mark, and never be sorry for a late reply, you guys are great with your timely replies

I can't actually send you the recording as it is done directly from the iPhone when uploaded. I'll try to explain.

Uploading a previously recorded video form my computer works fine.
Uploading a previously recorded video from my iPhone works fine.

The problem is when on the iPhone using Safari, you get the popup option to send a instant video. Please see the attachment of the options you get when on an iPhone.

The video uploads fine when complete, but there isn't any audio. All other methods work fine and has sound.

Hope that makes sense.
Cheers

Hey Markus,

I've tried to use Iphone 5s upload the video through Safari browser, it seems work fine.

Perhaps you can play this video ( http://yourdomain.com/squiz/stream/item/259 ) and see how it goes?

By the way, it would be best if you can send your video in my email (arlex.wong@stackideas.com) , so I can directly try upload this video on your site and see is it only affected certain video only. Because different video have their different video bitrate.
