i have a problem with a blog post :
a video that is at the end of the blop post is included in the short content display in category view, even if there is a blog image for this post !!

to solve this i had to select not to see video in the backend blog parameters

i did'nt have to do this for images inside a blob post
usually when there are a blog image and truncation, this image is the only one visible in short blog text...
my parameters for others image is still "viewable at beginning"

can it be like this for video
(notice that the video is in the far end of the blog post)

if there is a blog image :
- do not show in truncation any others images and videos from the text

if there is not a blog image :
- showing an image or a video

it that the way the things are going with easyblog ?

Hello,

It doesn't matter if you have a blog image or not but if you embed a video into the blog post, you need to disable it in the settings if you do not want it to appear on the frontpage. Videos are not treated as "blog images". I guess your workflow can be achieved by the way you store the content.

1. If blog post has a blog image, and you need to insert a video, then when you write your blog post, use the read more button to split the intro and the content.

2. If blog post does not have an image, embed the video into the intro section by placing the video codes before the read more line.
