Hi..... I currently use EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss and EasySocial together on my site. Why is there NO link for a person to return to their profile page in EasySocial in EasyBlog??? There's a profile link in EasyDiscuss that takes a person back to their profile page in EasySocial, I think there should also be one in EasyBlog.
Hey Antonio,

It's actually possible. You just need to configure the profile integration in EasyBlog to link to EasySocial. This way, clicking on the profile picture would actually link them back to EasySocial.

Ok everything is integrated and I still can't find a direct link to return to my profile page in EasySocial. Take in mind i'm not creating a Blog I'm just reading one somebody else created. I can't find a direct link back to my profile page in EasySocial. I found a way to get back to my profile page but it's a two step process, I have to go to the gear and select edit profile then i have to select the gear again and my profile picture will drop down and then I can select it and return to EasySocial.

And when I click on the person profile picture that wrote the blog it doesn't take me to their EasySocial profile.

Hi Antonio,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. When I'm trying to access your site it will redirect me to http://www.majorchase.com and returning error 404 page not found.

Please advise.

Hi Antonio,

I've helped you with the integration by enabling the following options from your backend > easyblog > settings > layout > avatar > avatar integrations, http://screencast.com/t/aAiWac9l5 .

Thank you Ezrul..... Is there still no direct link back to EasySocial to my profile from EasyBlog? I still have to go through that two step process to get back to my profile in EasySocial. Also when I click on the authors name of the blog it takes me back to EasySocial but that profile page is not displaying and it is the only profile on the site that's not displaying, I can't figure out why.

Hi Antonio Simmons,

Is there still no direct link back to EasySocial to my profile from EasyBlog? I still have to go through that two step process to get back to my profile in EasySocial

Currently the only way to go back to your EasySocial pages is to install DropDown menu module from EasySocial and assign the module at left position on your EasyBlog pages. Please see http://screencast.com/t/use05sd40o

Also when I click on the authors name of the blog it takes me back to EasySocial but that profile page is not displaying and it is the only profile on the site that's not displaying, I can't figure out why.

Regarding the above, look like your EasyBlog app for EasySocial is outdated. I've updated your blog apps and now your blogger profile page in EasySocial is showing correctly

Hope this help.
Sam

Thank you very much Sam, everything's working fine now. Will there be a direct link added to EasyBlog instead of having to use the DropDown menu module?

Hi Aikigi,

You need to associate a menu item that have an easyblog menu item with the dropdown module as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/aQYrQ4UdtH . In my screenshot the dropdown menu will include all the menu from my "main menu" as a dropdown. Refer my example screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/oFwc4esc .

Hope these help.
