Thank you for the heads up on the issue. I have already add this into your codebase so that our developers can add the alert rule for polls creation in the next release of easysocial.

I did some more tests, and in fact notification when publishing a poll in a group is not the only notification missing.

The following notifications are also missing:
- Somenone liked a poll
- Somenone commented a poll
- Someone voted in a poll
... and maybe some others!

Note that the "repost" notification for polls is already working fine

Notification for a new poll created in group was introduced in ES 1.4.9 and is working fine

But as I wrote previously:

The following notifications are also missing:

You probably know how notification important are on a social site... and did a very good job so far for any type of publication. Would you consider going on for polls?

We are sorry as we might have missed to add these notification for polls inside the group. I've log this into our codebase and we will include this in the next release of easysocial.
