No Facebook Likes after change to SSL

Dear Support,
After changing to SSL (Let's encrpyt), the Facebook Counter are set to 0 and aren't showing the previous Likes.
Is this a bug or a feature?
How can I get back the old status?

Hi Rosemarie,

To be honest to you, unfortunately it is not possible to retrieve back the facebook likes once you change to ssl where it is out of our control. Facebook like actually logged in Facebook server based on your current post URL.
You actually can try copy one of the existing blog post URL and paste in the Facebook Debugger Tool
