I purchased EasyBlog yesterday and installed it today. The installation appeared to go well. I was taken to the EasyBlog home page after installation completion. I was able to configure it the way I wanted and create a blog post. After I left the EasyBlog home page to work on other things, I found I had no way to get back to EasyBlog. There was no EasyBlog menu item on the Component dropdown menu in the administrator back end. I can access the EB home page by using the URL to get there: http://mcneillmusic.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_easyblog. But that is rather inconvenient. Any help would be appreciated! I have used EB in the past without trouble. We are putting it on a new site, but are having this little glitch.
Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Do you want me to post that here, or somewhere secure?

The reinstallation fixed the issue and I now have a menu link under "components". Thank you so much for you help! What was "the fix"? Did I mess up the installation?

Hi Michelle,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. It might due to your database does not get updated during the installation of easyblog, hence the menu is not appearing correctly. Perhaps you can try to look at the forum thread here regarding on the same issue that you are facing previously, http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=809012 . Nevertheless glad that your issue has been resolved now.
