I have ES integrated with ED and EB. I have ES set to be the default registration with auto login. I registered a test user and was automatically logged in and the user shows up in the user management backend. However I received no confirmation email for either the user or the admin. I assume I have something configured wrong in the backend but don't know what. Please advise. Thanks.
Hello Randl,

I believe that most likely the e-mail settings under your Global Configuration is not correct. Can you please verify with your hosting provider that PHP Mailer is allowed?

Also, did you receive other e-mails from the site and have you checked your spam box?

I have a similar (but not equal) problem.
The user doesn't receive the confirmation email while the admin receive the notification email.

My test registration confirmation email finally made it but like you took hours to make it to my desktop email client. My emails I sent out this morning took between an hour and an hour and a half. I have a support ticket into my host provider to see if it is at their end. They do have a new email client that may still be buggy. I will respond here when I know more.

Yep, I am pretty sure that there is a huge queue in their mail server which causes these delays.

Just received an email response from my host that it is a serious problem and that they are working to resolve it. Thanks for helping me narrow it down. Will mark this thread as resolved.
