Hi,

is there a way to not showing "news feed" to anyone, unless the user is actually registered.
Sure there must be a switch, but couldn't find any
You're Welcome, glad to hear you issue has been resolved.

Hi Alexander,

I don't know if there is an option within Easysocial for that, but if what you want is to only display the registration/login form when the page is view by guest user, then here what you can do.

1. Change the access level of your Easysocial "Dashboard" menu item to registered user. This will hide it from Guest users.

2. Create a new "Login Layout" menu item, give it the same name, and configure the access level to "guest".

By doing so, guest users will only see the login/registration form. when login in, registered user will only see the dashboard menu item.

Hope this help!

Hi Alexander,

This should work. Let go over it:

1. Menu item for Guest user. See screenshoot "guest menu item configuration.png". It is important for this to have the access level to "guest" NOT "public".

2. Menu item for registered users. See screnshoot "Registered user menu item configuration.png"

Make sure that both menu item have the same name. "Community" in my example...

About you facebook issue, was it working before? None of this should have any impact on it.

I can't give the same name to another menu item:

"Warning
Save failed with the following error: Another menu item with the same parent has this alias."

Here is my set up below:

You can give any alias you want but it is important to stay consistent. I would name the dashboard menu item "community" and the login menu item "login" or "community-login".

This is up to you

Ok I'm not on my computer right now so cannot really check everything but you should look at the setting/ registration setting. You may have to Change the access level for allowing the registration to guest as well.

If not, revert the changes and wait for a stackideas support team to help you...

Sorry can't help more now...

Hi everyone
Can you help me to figure out what is happening, I just wanted to remove "news feed" and everything at the bottom, leaving the page for non registered users just with login in and registration buttons. I created another menu item but simple registration is not working now (facebook is fine now).
If you can help i will be very appreciated, I know you guys very busy.
