Newest KOmento adds comments even when Joomla 3.8 has them turned off

Updated Komento and now it adds comments to everything that I have told the admin system not to. How do I only specify what I want comments added to. Why did this change with the update? I'd rather not give you access to troubleshoot. I assume this is a typical problem and has something to do with settings. I'm using the latest version of Joomla.
I've figured it out. The update deleted my settings and for some reason, possibly a moment of grandiosity, the extension thought I wanted all articles in a 5,000 page website have comments. So, I went into Komento > Integration > Joomla Articles and told it to only use comments on specific assigned categories.
