Try take a look of this SEO settings from backend > Easyblog > settings > SEO > advanced setting > set default > save > clear cache from Joomla

Then go to your homepage and check again the URL is it work fine?

If no, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

I tried your suggestion and it still doesn't give me more friendlier URL.

it still shows "easyblog" in the url string.

http://www.bcadventist.com/index.php/easyblog/premarital-counseling-training

in the previous versions, "easyblog" was not in the url string.

If you would like to get rid of this `easyblog` url alias, you have to set your Easyblog frontpage as your site default homepage.

Or you create a hidden menu for `Easyblog (frontpage) layout` so all the post URL link will show something like :
http://www.bcadventist.com/index.php/hiddenmenuAlias/postName
