Compliments of the day,

I just noticed a small issue on my site. When a new user signs up, the user name displays a language error. (Please see attached).

What is the correct text that should appear instead of the constant please?

Thanks.
Hm, that was strange, do you know these following user how their register into your site? You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Because just now i tried to register via Facebook and normal Easysocial mini registration, it seems work fine without getting this 'COM_EASYSOCIAL_GUEST_NAME' username.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the response. It got me thinking. I tried creating an account too and it worked fine. Then I tried creating an account without entering "First name and Last name". I only entered email and password and it created the account but it gave the same error message.

I think it happens when a user tries to create an account without entering first name and last name and so Easysocial does not have the values to use to replace the constant.

I have changed the form settings to make entering "First name and Last name" required.

It may need looking into because there may be people who may want people to just be able to register with only email and then later on update their profile with first name and last name. Just my thoughts.

Thanks again.
